The
Marker Pad is a 2" x 2" square pad painted bright red. We use them to lay out stages by placing them on the ground to
temporarily mark the center point of a target base. They are thick
enough to reject bullet splatter and can be quickly repainted if hit.
|
|
Marker Stakes are a spike and washer
welded together. The spike head protrudes above the washer by 3/4"
and is small enough to hold a tape measure loop. We leave one
permanently in the ground on the centerline as a benchmark.
|
|
Marker Stakes and Pads are used to layout stages. A
Marker Stake can be temporarily pushed
into the ground at the proper distance from the benchmark and used as
a pivot point to measure to the center of a target base offset from the
centerline. A Marker Pad can then be used to index the spot.

Tie Down Stakes
are available to secure bases to the ground. They can be driven into
the ground with a hammer. We designed them as an option for our light weight
Transportable Target bases (Stick holders).

The Mini Popper Kit converts the
rearward falling plate into a forward falling one. The set bolt is
removed and our Kit assembly is installed in its place. The Mini popper
assembly then is rotated 180 degrees. Plate sensitivity can still be
adjusted. When the plate is hit it will fall toward the shooter.

The Disconnector kit is available to convert the plates and stems into knock down
targets. We've used this system to convert steel stages into shotgun stages.
The Disconnector kit will accommodate targets up to 14" in diameter (7" from the
plate edge regardless of the target shape).
|
|
The Disconnector Platform plate converts any stem top into a 4" wide by 6" long flat
platform. The plate height above ground is the length of the stem plus about 1
3/4".
We use stems one length down (6" shorter) when converting steel stages to shotgun stages.
The 3/4" wrench (provided by user), for the plates, tightens the Disconnector Platform to the stem.
The Platform can be lowered to a minimum height of about 10" if mounted directly to the base stem support.
|
|
The Plate Reactive base and stem converts plates up to 7" (from edge
to center) into knock down plates (reactive). The plate base has an anti-spin strip built in.
The strip prevents the target from spinning on the platform and assists in setting the
plate to the same location on the platform. The our plate clamp system
is used to fasten targets to the Reactive base.

A Steel match
software CD is available.
The CD contains the stage layouts, rules, match
template/scoring and classification system. The scoring and classification system uses
Microsoft Excel and macros to determine match results and to classify participants. There
are tools to assist the match director, such as a selection sheet that keeps track of when
the stages were last run. The classification system uses the last 1 to 15 months of match
data. See "Home", "Matches"
"American Speed
Plates" for more information.

Our Squib tool has the mass
to drive those pesky bullets from any hand gun barrel. It will work for
9 mm through the largest calibers. The brass rod is backed by the mass
of the steel T-handle.

Our Electronic Speed
controller was designed to work with brass collators and vibratory
primer tube fillers. Several of our customers complained that brass was
spilling over the top of the collator bowl, even on low speed. Slowing the speed of the collator
rotation gives the brass more time to drop and prevents too many pieces
of brass from stacking and falling over the bowel rim. Primers were flipping over while the vibratory primer tube fillers were
being loaded. Small Federal primers were more prone to ending up
facing the wrong way than were Winchesters. Primers line up
while waiting to enter the primer
transfer tube. Primers arriving exert enough force on the waiting primers
to cause a primer to flip on its side. Primers that have passed the
last wrong side up trap are pushed to the transfer tube and can fall
into the tube either side up. Reducing the power to the filler
corrects the problem.
