The chain adapter and S hooks can be used with our A-frame or you can
mount it on your own suspension system. The kit contains of a bracket with
holes at each end for attaching S hooks and holes to bolt a top a
mount plate to the bracket. Attaching hardware consists of:
2 - 1/2 inch carriage bolts (Grade 8)
2 - lock washers
2 - Cinch nuts
4 - S hooks.
Chain can be furnished, but we prefer that you acquire it from
your local hardware store to save on shipping and purchase the length
you require..
We wish provide a warning about the desire of an errant round to cut the
chain rather than impact the target.
22 caliber rounds ( .223/5.56 mm) work well with the chain and S
hook setup. Heavier projectiles (308/30-06) can (and do) wrap the target
around our A-Frame cross bar.

The Stem Mount adapter is our newest offering. It's less expensive than
the plate clamp system and offers more noise and movement when hit. Its main advantage is it's ease of
mounting - just set it over the stem - it's done!. Removal of the plate
and adapter is recommended before moving or pulling the stem from it's
Universal Base holder. The mounting assembly attaches to the plate with:
2 - 1/2 inch carriage bolts
2 - lock washers
2 - nuts

Our small popper base will
accept either the AR500 IPSC Mini Classic or Mini Pepper (2/3
size) Popper targets.
We protect the hinge and adjusting bolt with the bottom portion of the
target. Only a small portion of the leg material is visible when
viewing the target and base head on.
We build our own hinges to reduce the slop commonly found in other
bases. Reset and trip points will remain constant.
We strongly urge that the pad that accepts the falling plate be kept
free of debris. Stones or other hard substances will cut or compress the
pad material when the target is driven down.

Our large popper base will
accept either AR500 full size Pepper Popper or the Classic Popper IPSC targets.
We also use the target to protect most of the soft structural
steel.
This base also uses our own hinges to insure that plate returns to a
vertical position and the reset and trip points remain constant. The
target weight and angle iron cross braces prevent plate/base scooting.
We strongly urge that the pad that accepts the falling plate be kept free
of debris. The pad is elevated from the base rails to permit stacking of
the plates.
