The 12 x 18" is recommended for use as an intermediate sized target for speed shooting. This plate was designed to replace the 18 x 24" rectangle center hole target used in Steel Challenge stages. The 12 x 18" target was requested because of it's lighter; half of the 18 x 24" 45 lbs, weight.
We use a water bath precision plasma cutter to cut all of our metal targets. This handgun target mounting hole is designed for a modified 1/2 inch plow bolt.
One mounting option for this target plate is an adapter that bolts to the target and is placed over an angle iron stem.
We also have an transportable A-frame with a pendulum, that disassembles without tools.
